What are the best dog wipes?

Not all pet wipes are made equal! We generally prefer a natural grooming wipe for general use like Earthbath, however do note that these wipes are usually mild in scent. Anti-bacterial wipes are also a great addition to have. Absorb Plus antibacterial wipes are a good choice and are also nicely scented.

Do dog wipes really work?

Dog wipes are useful in removing surface dirt and keeping your dog feeling a little comfortable, but nothing beats a good old shower. However, dog wipes are great at cleaning small areas such as a dirty paw after a walk, or mud on your dog’s muzzle.

Can I wipe my dog with baby wipes?

While it is generally fine to use baby wipes, dog wipes are encouraged as they are made to suit the pH level and are safe if they lick themselves. In addition, baby wipes sometimes contain ingredients that aren’t suitable for dogs, especially fragrances and moisturizing agents. Propylene glycol can sometimes be found in baby wipes as well, and this can be quite uncomfortable for dogs, particularly if it becomes ingested.

How do I keep my dog clean in between baths?

You may consider dry shampoo or consider using Joypet Shampoo Towel. Using dog wipes to give your dog a quick wipe down would also help to remove surface dirt.

How do I keep my house from smelling like dog?

There are options that help to keep your house smelling clean and fresh. Petkit Smart Odor eliminator is one such product. For a simple and quick home solution, putting out baking soda can help absorb odors. In addition, wash your pet beddings and change pee pads frequently!

How often should you bathe your dog?

At a minimum, dogs should be showered once every 1-2months and can be showered as often as weekly. DO NOT shower your dog daily as this will strip their skin of natural oils and dry out their skin and cause skin problems.
